I'm much more of a fan of the first cat. The white against the dark presents a much more appealing contrast. I was recently in Italy and saw this look wherever young people would congregate.
I do believe you have to have the proper height to carry off these long scarves. Both of these models are long-pawed, which is essential. On a short-pawed cat, such scarves would look merely frumpy.
