$$$$$17 billion spent on dog and cat chow each year in the U.S. and Europe....and elsewhere....30,000 people are dying each and every day....from starvation....what's wrong with this picture?....you know, don't you?....if we can manage to feed all those cats and dogs....couldn't we make sure no human being starved to death?

I must say, I really hate cats. Not only are they mean-spirited and unfriendly, but they all look the same. (I stopped by because this is the blog of the day and was curious to see what exactly this blog is about). I'll always be a dog lover, though.

Congratulations on being selected as a "Blog of Note"!! I like your overall layout and color scheme - very good visual appeal. I must confess that I am more of a dog person (forgive me) but I do occasionally run into cats - especially in Kuwait. Arabs HATE dogs (it's a cultural thing; exception: they like Salukis) but they tend to leave cats alone. If I manage to capture a few pictures of some cute Kuwaiti kitties, I can forward them on to you and let you decide if they are worthy of inclusion within your blog. As for me, I was Sept. 30th's blog of note: Traveling Chemist.
