On the Street.....Misha, Paris

So, what do we think of this years shows? Are you as disappointed as I am?

While some designers continue to take risks in the recession, many are still holding back in fear of alienating their customers (and stockists). We should be seeing more reasons to fall in love with a collection and less conservative market-driven decisions.

Punk sensibility in a tailored camel's hair coat are what make Paris worthwhile.
I love his pairing of the vintage bell, snap collar (reflective!), and his austere tag. Masculine, but still playful.

I am for the classic look... true greatness is achieved by a simplicity?

Masculine and playful, like you said, but that gaze says "paws off the camel hair coat, S'il vous plait!"
I love the tailored look of camel hair for early spring-- not too heavy!

Understated strength and elegance - beautifully modelled! French and styel just seem to go together.

O my God! I just discovered your blog and am in LOVE !!!!

I am such a cat lover (am driving my boyfriend crazy) and this blog reminds me so much of one of my favorite books 'Catwalk Cats' by Grace Coddington!

Great blog and I'll keep track!

How perfectly you capture this moment of effortless chic! A sophisticated bricolage of vintage and cutting edge styles, and I have never seen such well groomed whiskers. Hopefully a CATalyst of a new movement of feline fashion risk takers!

The bell and the tag seem a little overkill to me. May be the tag only would have suffice...

I think he accessorised his outfit very well. Actually, the necklace MAKES the oufit. He would look naked without it!
